Video Project: Reuniting the Brave
Project Goal: To increase engagement and funding, as well as an understanding of the work that Robert Irvine Foundation does for our veterans, service members, first responders, and their families.
Project Summary
The Robert Irvine Foundation [RIF] is a nonprofit organization founded by Chef Robert Irvine, a veteran of the Royal British Navy and a chef and entrepreneur, who has made it his mission to serve those who wear the cloth of our nation, first responders, veterans, service members, and their families. We’ve had the privilege of traveling with and for them to military bases across the country, including national memorials and events, as well as the annual fundraising event, Beats ‘n Eats, where world-class chefs and musicians gather to raise awareness and funds to continue the mission of RIF.
One of our videos made for their organization has since won an award, and captured one of their first Reuniting the Brave events at Camp Pendleton, where veterans reconnected after years apart. Helm captured video footage, photos, and audio clips of those who served and their families as they bonded over memories shared together. Through storytelling videos, content repurposing, ideation on capturing insightful interviews, and more, we’ve built a creative crew that understands the power of reading a room and being sensitive and adaptive to an unfolding narrative. The result is exceptional storytelling paired with content that builds empathy, is conducted with honor, and is, at the heart, creative.
